Guitarist Al Di Meola is renowned for pioneering the sound of jazz fusion throughout the 1970s and '80s before turning his creative energies to acoustic-based World and Latin music in the 1990s. This double bill of concerts captures Di Meola in both stages of his career with two different appearances at the Montreux Jazz Festival: a solo acoustic performance from 1986, and a Latin-influenced pairing with guitarist Chris Carrington and percussionist Arto Tuncboyaciyan from 1993.
